Hi Arslan, I can only share my own experience with the energy. At first, I did many practices to actively try to raise the energy within; such as yoga, tantra, kundalini yoga, breathwork, you name it. That has dramatically changed recently, as I've learned that personally the best I can do to connect to kundalini is to release completely. All practices mentioned above are beautiful, but rather yang practices, as in trying to force the energy. When I say complete releasing, I mean pretty much laying down in shavasana and seeing how much I can relax, focusing on each part of my body letting it fall more and more. I have learned that the best way to get the energy through my body is by total surrender in full awareness. Good luck on your journey, dear.
