Hi Sean, I don't know her so I can't say what kind of fear is holding her back, I can only say it is something within herself. We live based on our self-imposed limitations. Now, whether what she says to hmmm your friend is true or not, or whether she wants to take on the work needed, is only up to her and the strength of her beliefs and stories she tells herself. Other people are always out of our control. Only our own self-imposed limitations are within our arena of action. That all said, the biggest question is what love is, deconstructing the idea of scarcity, control and surrendering to the expansion of real love. I know this answer might not help you, but it is not of my interest to limit something that is so limitless. Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional. I know, easier said than done.
