I've done 48 hours fasting a few times but I never managed to get it longer than that. I fast 24 hours every other week for Ekadasi, but then I got too greedy and tried to do 96 hrs fasting. When I woke up on the third day, I couldn't do anything without feeling I was about to faint. The fact that my blood pressure is low definitely does not help. I've been contemplating trying it again (not greedy 96 hrs I guess, but 72 hrs) but I wonder what I should do to avoid this lightheaded, fainting feeling… maybe some lemon water with salt in the mornings just to have some minerals in the body and avoid fainting? not sure… recommendations are welcome ;)
